City Parks
While the town square might be the most iconic location for the town bandstand, it was much more common for them to be located in city parks. At least, that is what one may surmise if the greater number of postcards depicting park bandstands is used as evidence. Town parks offered more space to accommodate large crowds as well as the sense of escaping to nature.
